Frequently asked questions
How many pairs of AERO winglets are included?
- 2018–2022 Models: Includes 2 pairs of Front AERO Winglets as standard. You can optionally specify a 3rd pair for the underbelly panel.
- 2023–2024 Models: Includes 3 pairs of Front AERO Winglets as standard (including the underbelly winglets).
Can I request a specific racing livery?
We provide three distinct levels of customization to match your project requirements:
- Replica Liveries: With customer-provided reference photography, we digitally reconstruct the graphics and layout for your chosen scheme. The livery is applied and then sealed under a professional-grade clear coat to achieve a seamless, OEM-level finish.
- Studio Design Implementation: We can execute bespoke designs provided by third-party design studios. Our team works directly with your provided vector files or design blueprints to ensure an accurate transition from digital concept to physical fairing.
- In-House Bespoke Design: For unique projects, we offer a comprehensive design-from-zero service. This involves a collaborative process to develop an original livery. Please note that bespoke designs incur additional lead times and design fees.
Our replica racing liveries are produced as a tribute to motorsport history and are intended for private enthusiast use. As a custom finishing service, we fulfill designs at the specific request of the client and do not claim ownership of any third-party trademarks or brand logos.
The selection and inclusion of specific branding within a custom design is at the sole discretion and responsibility of the customer.
Can I Request Bespoke Colour?
Clients may specify custom metallic, pearl, or solid colors outside of traditional racing liveries. To achieve a high-clarity finish, all custom paintwork follows a specific technical protocol:
- Surface Preparation: Every fairing undergoes a multi-stage preparation process to ensure optimal paint adhesion and a defect-free substrate.
- Two-Stage Flow Coating: To minimise the 'orange peel' texture found in standard finishes of two-tone colours, we utilise a two-stage clear coat process. The initial clear coat is precision-sanded to level the surface before a second 'flow coat' is applied. This results in a glass-like finish with increased depth and reflection.
- UV Resistance: We utilise high-solid, UV-stable clear coats to ensure long-term color retention and resistance to environmental degradation.
How do I proceed with the purchasing process?
The process initiates with the formal commissioning of your order and a technical review of all customisation specifications. Once the design details for your livery or metallic finish are acknowledged and finalised, a 50% authorisation fee is required.
Due to the bespoke, made-to-order nature of the work, this fee serves to secure the production slot and is non-refundable once manufacturing commences.
Following the commissioning and deposit, the project enters the production phase, during which we provide step-by-step progress updates through every manufacturing stage. This ensures full transparency from the initial moulding of the AERO components to the final multi-stage paint application.
The remaining balance is settled only after the product has passed final quality control. Once the project is complete and the final payment is received, your kit is prepared for secure dispatch.
