‘Cornu’ takes its name from ‘Cornucopia’, the horn of plenty, and ‘Ater’ is the Latin for matte black. CORNU ATER is the black edition of the Cornu brake lever guard by FLIPPERHOUSE, produced in 6061 aluminium through Selective Laser Melting (SLM), hand-polished and finished in black anodise.
The geometry is developed around low-side crashes and drops. The guard is formed as a single continuous surface in G1 and G2 curvature, growing out of the clip-on or handlebar towards the front with no straight lines or hard angles, allowing it to glide across tarmac on contact. Its slimmer forward section acts as the primary deformation zone, bending or fracturing first to absorb impact energy.
Ergonomically considered for throttle control when fully committed through corners, and track-proven under trail braking, CORNU ATER is a piece in which form and function are resolved together, each defining the other.

APPLICATION
Universal fitment for clip-ons and handlebars with a 16–17 mm inner diameter, using the supplied expansion bolt. Inner diameters of 13–16 mm and 18–19 mm are accommodated with the optional expansion bolts, available on request. Measure the inner diameter of the clip-on or handlebar end before ordering, and specify the required expansion bolt size if it falls outside 16–17 mm.
