On MV Agusta's 3 Cylinder models, the rear brake reservoir is positioned directly between two major heat sources — the engine block and the exhaust, potentialoly lead to overheated brake fluid, spongy lever feel, and brake failure under high-stress conditions.
Our kit solves this problem by relocating the reservoir further from the engine, adding a dedicated heat shield, and supplying thicker, elongated brake hoses for improved thermal insulation. The result is consistent rear brake performance, reduced risk of fluid boiling, and a bolt-on installation compatible with F3 / SV800 and B800 / D800 models.
Laser cut and stamped from stainless steel sheet, our kit provides excellent heat deflection and durability, helping to minimize radiant heat reaching the reservoir. Combined with the supplied thicker, elongated brake hoses, this kit ensures improved thermal insulation, consistent rear brake performance, and a straightforward bolt-on installation compatible with F3 / SV800 and B800 / D800 models.
We generally recommend the use of plastic reservoir (e.g. OEM reservoir), which has a lower thermal conductivity, absorbs heat more slowly than metal, further reducing the risk of brake fluid boiling under extreme conditions.
